Meet the Team

Mark Uy and Alex Colita established UBEC in 2022. They have been in the specialty coffee industry for more than eight years and have dedicated their efforts to making better coffee. Mark Uy has been in the specialty coffee industry for years and has competed and won in several coffee competitions on both international stages. Alex's coffee palate has been enhanced through years of experience as a head roaster. He has continued to improve his craft by completing coffee workshops and courses. UBEC aims to produce quality coffee for the specialty coffee world and continues to instill a collaborative culture and a sustainable coffee community whose goal is to always seek how to produce a better cup of coffee for all to experience and enjoy
